Dear Pastor Mike and my Fellowship Chapel family,

Thank you for the lovely plant and the book on grieving. But I especially thank you for your love, support, and prayers. I appreciate you!

God bless,
Mike Schafer

Thank you all for praying for me and for Chafer Theological Seminary. My medical procedure went well (but I won’t know if it was successful for a month or two). And on July 1 we received official notification from the State of New Mexico Higher Education Department that we once again can operate legally under an exemption given to theology colleges and seminaries that offer advanced degrees without state-recognized accreditation. This is a major victory for without it we either would have gone bankrupt paying for a court battle or had to move to Texas or had to cease offering theological degrees to students completing our rigorous training.
