We encourage physical distancing as far as possible and reasonable while at and in FC.
We encourage you, for your and others health and welfare, to use a face covering at all gatherings in compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order which went into effect Friday 31 July which states in part:
“b. Requirement to Wear Face Coverings.
i. . . . all persons in Maryland over the age of five (5) years old are required to wear a Face
Covering when they are:
2. indoors at any location where members of the public are generally permitted, including without limitation, Religious Facilities, . . .”
If, due to a bona fide disability or medical condition, it would be unsafe for the person to do so; to the extent wearing a Face Covering would impede communication by or with persons who have a hearing impairment or other disability, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication; to the extent wearing a Face Covering would make it impossible to receive services requiring access to the face, mouth, or head, including without limitation, dental care, shaving, and facial treatments; while consuming food or beverages.
We have anti-bacterial soap in our dispensers (we encourage hand washing for 20 seconds!) and will have hand sanitizer available. (We encourage you to bring your own hand sanitizer and use as you enter the building.)
We will not have coffee service at the present time.
We are thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting highly used areas as necessary.
We have spaced our rows so you can sit in any row and we encourage spacing of families (households).
We will at this time have a number of Family Connectors at the entrance to Sanctuary. We will continue to not use hymnals, out of precaution. We will use our video projection; Website; Facebook; weekly emails, and calling post alerts for communication of Ministry Highlights and Family Updates. (We are mailing our “Family Connector” weekly!)
We encourage you if you are showing any symptoms of illness, please remain at home and utilize the virtual venues for the physical health of others. (If at FC and you sense the need to sneeze or cough, please cover adequately.)
If you have any other insights / input, please inform US by email: email@example.com.
